Case Study
The Challenge
The Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) needed assistance raising awareness about the benefits of electronic health records (EHRs) with doctors and patients within the U.S.
The agency was tasked with creating a national campaign to facilitate the adoption of electronic health records by both consumers and providers. There was no online presence regarding this from the client and it all needed to be created from scratch.
In addition, the internal staff needed to be trained on how to manage both the website and all online properties.
The Solution
Created a fully integrated marketing plan to reach consumers and providers that included a website and blog build, creating all social properties, content creation, metrics measurement and reporting and ongoing staff training and support.
The Impact
- Resulted in Top 10 rankings for 5K keywords
- Changed the US Google search volume from EMR (electronic medical records) to EHR (electronic health records) within 2 years.
- Within a year of launch had almost a million qualified visits to the site
- Within a year increased the engagement rates on all Social properties by 96%+
- Won over 24 awards including PR Week’s Public Sector Campaign of the Year and Silver and Gold SABRE Awards.
